Gardening in Edinburgh, Scotland - a keen beginner gardener!
Started to plant out my garden in March 2011. I've had successes and failures. I like to think I'm learning more as each season comes and goes.
Most of all thank you for visiting - I hope you like it here!
This summer really isn't turning out quite right for you, is it?! I wish I could send you some of our sunshine and heat. We've an oversupply of the latter right now.
I would take some of your rain if I could. My area is now headed into an extended heat wave, and we've only had a total of about an inch of rain during the past month. Every year is different, which makes gardening even more challenging. I will pray for a slow-down in precip for you and an increase for me!
Those were beautiful roses. It got destroyed in rain? I'm so sorry. That's not good. Either too much rain (your place) or too much heat and no rain (my place) driving us gardeners crazy.

Your comments are appreciated. My blog is currently experiencing issues with some readers reporting problems when posting their comments. Please bear with me whilst I try to rectify the problem. I have temporarily switched on word verification. I apologise for this, personally, I don't like it either, I am hoping this may help.
What a shame. I guess you had heavy rain. It hasn't reached us yet!

ReplyDeleteI hope the forecast thunder storms have not been too severe with you.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad Angie. We have no summer this year at all. I put the plastic on rose heads to protect them off the rain.Wish you some sunny days!
ReplyDeleteOh no :( Looks like they were just beautiful until...!
ReplyDeleteOh my dear, I would like to cry!
ReplyDeleteIn Germany we also have no summer this year.
All the best for you and your garden.
